Responsibilities of the Position:

The General of the Army of Area 51 is an executive ranked appointee by the President with the various tasks which include, but not limited to, advising the President, Vice President, and Chief of Staff on all matters dealing with Area 51 Clan. The General of the Army is also tasked with helping to deal with the day to day issues that arise within the clan and has the permissions to act on any threat and/or problem that may present itself for the safety and well being of the clan. THE GENERAL OF THE ARMY TAKES ON VARIOUS TASKS APPOINTED TO HIM/HER BY THE PRESIDENT.

Biography and Acquisition:

Merlin finally joined the clan on May 23, 2007 after being approached by a few members of Area 51 that played WarRock. Within the first week of joining, Merlin was chosen to act as the WarRock Executive Officer under Nuno's command. When Nuno moved onto newer ventures, Merlin advanced his status with Area 51 to WarRock Commanding Officer. While serving as WarRock Commanding Officer, Merlin became the only member ever in Area 51 to hold two simultaneous positions as he was asked to take on the duties of Attorney General by, then President, Infamous. After steadily climbing the ranks, Merlin eventually swayed away from his command positions in Area 51. Later, Merlin was asked to assume the duties of Secretary of Defense in which he held until being appointed the Attorney General of Area 51 yet again. After successfully completing the necessary duties of that job, he was sought after for the Chief of Staff position of Area 51. On February 1, 2009, Merlin was confirmed as the 12th Vice President of Area 51 after the resignation of Vice President Stalin and held that position until President Underline stepped down. Merlin Stepped down from The Vice President position to take a break from the daily grind of running a successful clan and was appointed the rank of General. Merlin decided to stay a regular member for a time for the purpose of relaxing a bit. After a time, he was called upon yet again to hold another position in A51 Clan, the General of the Army of A51.
